Key Account Manager (Europe)
Universal Avenue is currently seeking a Key Account Manager to focus on the European market with unique skills in building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders in the digital space.
The position is based out of Stockholm but requires occasional travel to our offices in London, Athens, Barcelona, as well as to new markets to meet the world’s leading online brands.

As Key Account Manager you build, manage and own the relationship with multiple brands across Europe within a multiple of digital segments. The core of the role is to bring our brand partners to the next level in terms of innovation, campaigns, and sales. You will play a key role ensuring the long term success and satisfaction for our brand partners. As part of this role you will often engage with the different departments across the Universal Avenue team in the multiple markets we are in and expanding into.
As part of the role you will:
Manage and develop our business relationships with a portfolio of leading online brands
Portfolio business planning, forecasting, reporting and invoicing in close coordination with Head of Brand Relations, Head of Sales, and Brand Acquisition Specialist
Evaluate partner accounts, set goals and plan partner sales campaigns
Liaise with and gain feedback from various teams internally within Universal Avenue to ensure that Brands’ expectations are met
Position reports to Head of Brands
#### Required skills
3 to 5 years of customer facing roles within the wider digital industry, especially building and managing key relationships
3 to 5 years experience of account management (or similar role), preferably focused on digital brands
Experience of account management of local brands, across Europe (Spain, UK, Germany, Sweden)
Results oriented whilst having the ability to think strategically and see the “big picture”
Autonomous, well organized, productive and with the ability to plan and deliver multiple projects under tight deadlines
Extensive knowledge of online and offline commerce models
Fluent English communication, written and verbal
Strong analytical skills
Team player with a positive and dynamic personality, excellent communication and presentation skills
Passion for managing complex commercial relationships
Positive attitude and a belief that no job is too big or too small
Advanced working knowledge of MS-office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
A passion for digital technology and startup environment
#### Beneficial skills
Experience and proven success in B2B sales or B2C sales
A large network of contacts particularly within the digital/startup space
An excellent relationship builder, both externally and internally
Knowledge and some network of key early stage VC's, incubators and accelerators within the technology startup space
Experience from working at one or multiple startups
Experience from working and/or living in multiple countries
Any additional languages (Spanish, French, German, Swedish)
